About North Georgia Community Action
North Georgia Community Action, Inc. (NGCA, Inc.) offers programs and services in Catoosa, Chattooga, Cherokee, Dade, Fannin, Gilmer, Gordon, Pickens, Murray, Walker and Whitfield counties.
We are a 501 (c)(3) non -profit organization that has been serving northwest Georgia since May of 1974. Through a variety of community service programs, our organization works to improve the quality of life for the low-income, elderly and home-bound populations.
What do you need to become self-sufficient? Are the resources offered in the 11-county region NGCA, Inc. serves the right resources? We ask these questions every day at NGCA, Inc. and are constantly evaluating the answers.
Recently, we contracted with SA Howell, LLC to produce a comprehensive Needs Assessment report. The objective was to document where we are right now today…and what needs to happen to best serve every member of our northwest Georgia community.
